Florida Yacht Charter Activities
Florida is America’s vacation land and the center to many attractions, sights, and activities. Yet a Florida yacht charter will expose you to so much more than you might expect, particularly when it comes to the coastline, the water, and the unique nightlife of the Miami area.
Beaches
Florida’s beaches are an amazing array of family gathering places, pet-friendly areas, private beach parties, and pristine sands dotted with gorgeous people lounging in the sun. You can find LGBT clothing-optional beaches and wheelchair accessible beaches for handicapped beachgoers. While the coast offers plenty of beaches to explore, it would be a shame to visit South Florida without experiencing Miami Beach. With its brightly-colored lifeguard stands, wild beach parties – like at Nikki Beach Club, and the famous South Beach, it wouldn’t be a Florida vacation without seeing at least one of Miami’s renowned beaches.
Water Fun
The Atlantic Ocean provides warm, clear water that is ideal for a variety of water sports and activities. Whether you prefer swimming or towables or would like something that’s a little wilder, like wakeboarding and waterskiing, your yacht charter will not disappoint! Our yachts include a variety of water toys, so you can knee board, snorkel, or kayak your way through the ocean blue.
Dolphins and Manatees
As you lounge on the deck of your luxury yacht, sipping a tropical cocktail, don’t be surprised if you see dolphins jumping alongside the boat or manatees lying in the surf. Pods of bottlenose dolphins live in the waters along the Florida coast, enjoying the sea grasses and the abundance of fish and sea creatures that reside there. The West Indian Manatee also grazes on the sea grasses in South Florida. Also known as “sea cows,” manatees can weigh up to one ton and are extremely gentle creatures. Spotting these beautiful creatures can make a fabulous vacation even better.
Scuba Diving
South Florida offers plenty of opportunities to explore under the water, including some of the largest artificial reefs and wrecks in the country. The Gulf Stream creates a gentle current which allows inexperienced divers the option of drift diving, float along as the current carries you past brightly-colored fish and beautiful reefs. Diving in South Florida, you may spot larger animals, such as sea turtles, sailfish, sharks, and whales.
The Florida Keys also provide excellent diving opportunities for all skill levels. North America’s only living coral reef is near the Keys, as are many shipwrecks worth exploring.
Nightlife
Miami is home to some of the best clubs in the country with music and dancers that drift into the streets to mingle with the ocean breeze. For some clubs, you’ve got to dress the part to even get in the door, while others require little more than a two-piece bikini or swim trunks. Clubs range from elegant and quiet to loud and wild. Take your pick, because in this area of the Sunshine State, the day doesn’t begin until the sun sets. Keep your eyes open for celebrities, because Miami is the place to be.
Shopping
Miami is for shopping lovers. Experiences indoor malls, outdoor shopping areas, designer outlets, chic boutiques, and shopping streets – all located in one city for your shopping pleasure! You can spend a whole day shopping and not even come close to encountering all that the city has to offer. Huge malls that spread outward and upward. Tiny shops with funky styles. Whole streets dedicated to classy designer threads. Open-air markets with everything from fruit to antiques. No matter your style, budget, or weakness – Miami is a shopaholics dream.
